What will I be doing?

As Hotel Accountant for Hilton Queenstown Resort and Spa, you will provide financial support, advice, and expertise to the Finance Manager and the hotel team, aiming to maximize value within established policies, procedures, and legal requirements. The role is based in Auckland and will include:

• Reviewing and posting daily revenue
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting statutory reports such as GST Return, PAYE Return, KiwiSaver, FBT, NRWT, and Statistics NZ
• Preparing month-end journal vouchers for the general ledger
• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of management reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow
• Liaising with internal and external auditors
• Ensuring permits and licenses are obtained and maintained, and managing leases and contracts affecting financial status
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager
