Job Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver batteries to customers on a timely basis and in a safe and professional manner.
  2. Handle all product per the warehouse standards.
  3. Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
  4. Load and unload trucks safely.
  5. Ensure batteries are charged, cleaned and dated, and that stock is rewrapped after rotation.
  6. Accurately complete reports and claims.
  7. Interact professionally with all stakeholders including team members, managers, and customers.
  8. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. High school graduate (or equivalent).
  2. Able to read, write, and compute basic math.
  3. Minimum of one year experience in warehouse operations - including RF / HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack, and stretch-wrap machine.
  4. Forklift license is required.
  5. Working knowledge of computers and applicable systems is required.
  6. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is required.
  7. Ability to multi-task, quickly transitioning from one function/task to the next.
  8. Demonstrates good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks.
  9. Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  10. Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency.
  11. Must work effectively in a team environment.
  12. Able to work overtime if requested.
  13. Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 lbs. (team lift where appropriate).
  14. Must have and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  15. Air Brake endorsement is required.

Scope Data:

  1. Works both independently and under general supervision.
  2. Accountable for individual accuracy and committed to learning from mistakes.
  3. Occasionally uses independent judgment when making decisions.
  4. Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  5. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  6. Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
  7. Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  8. Standing or walking for two-hour intervals.
  9. Repetitive taping of boxes.
