We are seeking a passionateHost.tess-Terrace to join our dynamic team on our terraces for the 2025 season. Your main responsibility is to create a welcoming atmosphere from the moment our guests arrive. You will play a crucial role as an orchestrator in the dining area, efficiently managing reservations on OpenTable and working closely with the headwaiter. Your ability to organize guest flow, provide accurate information, and cater to specific needs will ensure a seamless and memorable gastronomic experience for each of our guests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Warmly Welcome and greet our guests.
  • Assign tables according to seating plans.
  • Accompany our guests to their tables and adjust the number of place settings, if necessary.
  • Handle reservations and calls for our restaurants and terraces with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Ensure that menus are in order and the right quantities.
  • Ensure impeccable service in line with the brand’s high-quality standards.
  • Support the dining room team when necessary, during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area, bathrooms, and dining room.
  • Work as a team and communicate positively with other Corner team members.
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and interact with our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel’s offerings and schedules to provide comprehensive information to guests.

Other tasks may be assigned, and so we’re counting on your flexibility and resourcefulness!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have a minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant or as a receptionist or host/hostess.
  • Knowledge of how a point of sale (POS) system and OpenTable operate is an asset.
  • You have the energy, stamina, and availability for this demanding role, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • You are bilingual in French and English for effective communication with an international clientele.
  • You consistently maintain exemplary service standards.
  • You are passionate, friendly, and professional, with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
