Overview

Inventa is a leader in the design creation and execution of innovative brand experiences from large scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Now in our 29th year we are at the forefront in the experiential marketing and event space.

Are you an avid NFL fan? Love hosting your own watch parties and breaking down plays? Inventa is looking for a Host to manage a VIP guest experience at Parq Casino. Weekly winners get the VIP treatment with a private viewing party of NFL games. Working directly with the guests and Parq staff our Host will be present to set up, greet and make sure they are having the best experience possible!

To excel in this role you will have excellent communication, organization, and networking skills in addition to having open availability for training and shifts (outlined below). Previous experience is strongly desired as well as experience with customer service and public relations.

Host Responsibilities

• Arriving to footprint 15 minutes early to be prepped for the shift
• Setting up space in preparation for VIPs arrival
• Providing excellent customer service to VIPs
• Tracking any requests and working with Parq staff to fulfil said requests in a timely manner
• Building excellent rapport with VIPs
• Completing a nightly report and sending it to the Supervisor
• Liaison with Parq Staff, VIPs, and Inventa team
• Familiarizing yourself with the company’s mission, vision, and goals
• Answering any questions from guests that are within their scope
• Monitoring customer feedback and deescalating disgruntled guests onsite
• Representing the company in a fun and professional manner
• Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times
• Active participation in set up / tear down / opening / closing tasks

Host Requirements

• Prior experience in hospitality or high-level concierge
• 19 with valid ID
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly approachable and outgoing personality
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Comfortable with troubleshooting
• Knowledge of the NFL and current teams
• Knowledge of sports betting and PlayNow is an asset
