There's something about a walk under the canopy of an old growth forest, or a brisk stroll on the seawall that awakens the senses and reinvigorates the soul. Experiences like that stay with you, and that's what we strive to create for every guest that visits us.

Our Brewing Team craft a line-up of beers inspired by the nature around us, and our Culinary Team creates a menu to compliment the beer to really showcase some of the finest food and beverage in the area. As part of our Service Team, you provide the magic and expertise to bring our offerings to life.

Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub is nestled in the heart of Stanley Park surrounded by beautiful scenery, sporting activities and just steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada.

We are currently looking to add to our stellar team of people here at the Brewpub for the Summer. Our team is carefully selected and crafted to be able to not only provide excellent service and experiences to our guests, but to become part of a diverse, dynamic, caring and fun group all whilst working in the alluring surroundings of Stanley Park.

We are looking for people who are:

• collaborative, open and confident working in a team environment
• positive, attentive and willing to learn
• social, charismatic and energetic

As a Host, you'll need to:

• complete regular Beer School sessions
• provide excellent customer service and accurate information
• manage an efficient waitlist
• handle reservations in-person, over the phone and through OpenTable
• multitask in a fast-paced environment while supporting your team
• complete merchandise, food-to-go and beer-to-go orders effectively
• assist with daily and weekly scheduled cleaning duties
• clear and reset tables

Before you apply, please make sure you:

• hold a valid work permit for the duration of your employment, if applicable
• hold a valid Serving It Right certification
• can commit to a flexible schedule

To help with your application, it would be an asset if:

• you have a valid First Aid certification
• you have prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant as a Host or other relevant customer service role
• you have experience using the OpenTable platform

This is a seasonal opportunity ending October 14th, 2025. There may be an opportunity to extend past this date depending on the needs of the business. Hours and shifts may vary and include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We strictly adhere to any work permit hour restrictions.

Requirements
Legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Work Permit)
Valid Serving It Right Certification
Ability to commit to a flexible schedule
