Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Kamloops is seeking a Host/Hostess for casual part-time work. You will engage with guests, manage reservations and support servers with expediting, bussing and cleaning.

The role offers a benefits package and opportunities for advancement within a national gaming and entertainment company. Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, cash handling skills, Serving It Right certification, and strong public speaking presence.

Qualifications

• Host/hostess experience in the hospitality/food service industry preferred.
• Cash handling experience using POS system or cashier register.
• Serving It Right
• Effective public speaking skills and presence.
• Ability to pull, lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds, specifically a fully loaded serving tray.
• Knowledge of specialty food and beverage items.
