Job Summary

Canlan is seeking a customer service-focused Host to join our team. The Host is the forefront of the restaurant and one of the busiest areas. If you are looking to work in a dynamic environment, we look forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities

1. Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
2. Make and coordinate reservations for guests.
3. Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide excellent service.
4. Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas.
5. Maintain a waitlist and provide accurate wait times.
6. Perform opening and closing duties.
7. Handle other administrative duties related to the restaurant.
8. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Enthusiastic and welcoming personality; a natural leader.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Open availability, including weekends.
