Job summary

Boston Pizza International, Inc. (Calgary) is seeking a friendly Host/Greeter to greet Guests with a smile, manage seating, and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth service. You’ll be the first impression and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include acknowledging Guests, escorting to tables, and maintaining accurate seating options while communicating with staff by phone or in person. Previous hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• First impression by greeting guests with a warm, professional manner.
• Ability to communicate seating options and needs clearly.
• Maintain a positive attitude and guest-focused approach.
• Coordinate with team to ensure correct seating and flow of service.
• Represent Foundations of Hospitality and Boston Pizza Brand Standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to dynamic dining room demands.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus for this role.

Host

Hosts play the important role of being the first impression of the restaurant to our Guests. Smiling, and with an upbeat attitude, they ensure that our guests are seated based on their needs and the situation. They are responsible for acknowledging and thanking each and every Guest for their visit in a professional, sincere and friendly manner in person or by phone. They also coordinate with team members about available seating options and escort Guests to the right table and area.

The Host/Greeter is accountable for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They demonstrate and believe in championing a fun and safe work environment and contribute to a thriving workplace culture.
