Job summary

Aramark in Halifax, Canada is hiring a Hospitality Worker I to deliver friendly guest service, assist with reservations, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet guests, handle registrations, operate a register or POS system, and respond to inquiries with a positive attitude. Prior guest services experience is preferred, and adherence to safety and PPE guidelines is required. This role may involve standing and walking for extended periods.

The Hospitality Worker I is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by booking reservations, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
• Book reservations and coordinate registration
• Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
• Answers phone calls and emails and delivers messages as needed
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous guest services experience preferred
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75.
