Job summary

Aramark in Calgary, Alberta seeks a Cleaning Services Worker I to clean and maintain assigned areas to meet client satisfaction. The role requires following procedures, flexibility in hours, and physical capability to perform duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to follow existing procedures to perform routine tasks
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing; PPE may be required.

• Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
• Perform regular checks of equipment and report deficiencies.
• Check equipment is safe and working.
• Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Use site washing machine for internal laundry where appropriate.
• Follow Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy.
• Report hazards to Management.
• Follow Aramark policy in handling customer comments or complaints.
• Maintain high standards of clothing, footwear, headgear, and personal hygiene.
• Participate in company training to improve performance.
• Suggest areas of improvement and take corrective action as required.
• Carry out any other reasonable instructions from Aramark Management.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary.
• Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
• Check equipment is safe and working.
• Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as the need arises.
• Use of site washing machine for internal laundry where appropriate.
• Follow the Health and Safety Regulations and Fire Policy.
• Report hazards to Management.
• Follow company or component policy in taking care of customer comments or complaints.
• Ensure that clothing, including footwear and headgear, and personal hygiene is of the highest standards atall times.
• Participate in company training to improve your standard of performance.

The pay range for this position is $15.84 - $15.84.
