Overview

Hospitality Territory Sales and Service Manager — Ecolab, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. This outside sales role covers Kamloops, Merritt and the surrounding areas within Ecolab’s Institutional division. After completing an initial training program, you will be assigned to an established territory of customers including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do
  • Apply mechanical aptitude to install, repair, and perform maintenance on ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment and systems; use this service to strengthen customer relationships
  • Ensure customers’ facilities are fully operational and teams are trained on safe equipment use
  • Grow sales within an existing territory by providing training, regular and emergency mechanical service, and sales demonstrations
  • Cold-call and prospect to secure new accounts and build Ecolab’s brand
  • Learn customers’ warewashing systems and devise solutions as the expert on cleaning and sanitation processes
  • Adjust your schedule to meet the business needs of customers
Position Details
  • Cities included in this route : Kamloops, Merritt and surrounding areas
  • Weekend coverage for emergencies : Every 5 weekends
  • Overnight trips per month : 1 week per month
  • Compensation : Base salary plus monthly incentives and annual bonus; company car and benefits from day 1

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 1+ year of outside sales experience
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Willing to be on call during off hours and weekends; ability to travel to the US for training / meetings
  • No immigration sponsorship available
Physical Demands
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Handling heavy items and equipment; physical activities at least 50% of the time
  • Bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working on ladders at least 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous B2B commercial sales experience
  • Industry experience in food service, laundry, hospitality, or related fields
  • Mechanical problem-solving experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or similar)
