Job description

As a liaison for management, perform opening/closing supervision of assigned retail operation to include cash responsibilities, delegation of tasks and proper preparation of service areas to ensure guest service is at the highest levels obtainable. Responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of at least 20 or more student associates with regular managerial support. This is a hands-on, working supervisory role.

Job Duties

Duty/Responsibility Perform guest/staff service activities to create an environment of continuous improvement, teamwork, shared ownership in success and a strong commitment to excellence in industry. Coordinate staffing levels based on customer counts and service needs. Assume responsibility for covering/correcting staffing shortages, operational and performance issues among assigned staff. Participate as needed in food service activities, including preparation, handling, and service of food items in several formats simultaneously.

Duty/Responsibility Complete inventory of all items and place orders with authorized vendors to ensure that par stock levels are maintained. Assure that foods are portioned properly, served at proper temperatures, and handled properly until consumed, stored, or discarded. Maintain necessary service records, temperature logs, and other records/reports as needed. Responsible for cleaning, sanitation, and food safety to include proper food/cooler temperatures, equipment maintenance, and basic cleaning of facility each shift.

Duty/Responsibility Perform cash handling, safe and drawer reconciliations, daily deposits, and basic nightly record keeping communicating any variances or documentation to management.

Duty/Responsibility Follow departmental standards, ensure cost effective and proper use of supplies, wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary. Maintain professional appearance as per department standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
