Job summary

The Boulevard Club invites applications for a part-time Receiver role to support receiving, inventory, and operations across Culinary and Food & Beverage. You will ensure accurate receiving, organize stock, and assist with internal distribution and documentation.

Hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 based on experience and qualifications, offering a collaborative team environment and opportunities in hospitality operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in receiving, inventory, logistics, hospitality, or related environment is an asset.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory and administrative systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming food, beverage, operating supplies, and other goods delivered to the Club.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and supporting documentation, identifying shortages, damaged products, substitutions, or other discrepancies.
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, expiry dates, packaging condition, and temperature where applicable.
• Sort, organize, and distribute received products to the appropriate Culinary, Food & Beverage, Front of House, storage, refrigerated, and freezer areas.
• Maintain proper stock rotation using FIFO practices and assist with inventory counts, stock organization, and inventory control.
• Verify invoices and receiving documentation and assist with processing and maintaining records through Beanworks.
• Communicate delivery discrepancies, shortages, substitutions, quality concerns, and other receiving issues to the appropriate manager and assist with returns or credits as required.
• Safely unload, unpack, move, and distribute deliveries using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving, loading, and storage areas.
• Provide general receiving, logistical, administrative, and operational support to the Culinary and Food & Beverage teams as required.
