Job description

RVH is looking for part-time or full-time Hospitalists to join our team.

A flexible compensation package is available, featuring a $500 daily stipend guarantee and additional Fee for Service billings and HOCC. Hospital provided accommodations are also available for visiting Hospitalists. Full-time applicants may wish to explore opportunities to join the hospital’s benefit and pension plans.

2 hospitalists on per day... so you always have support.

45 min west of Ottawa.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be fully licensed in family medicine or internal medicine in Ontario and have current ACLS. Evidence of ongoing continuing medical education will be a requirement as will participation in hospital quality improvement initiatives.

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a fully accredited facility located just 45 minutes west of Ottawa. Part of the Renfrew and Area Health Village, RVH provides medical, surgical and complex continuing care as well as extensive ambulatory care with over 30,000 emergency and clinic visits per year. We are recruiting hospitalists to work in our evolving model of patient care. Our goal is to secure a majority of permanent hospitalists who will be the MRP responsible for active, CCC and ALC inpatients on a schedule that rotates weekly.
