Health Match BC seeks a Hospitalist to join Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake. You’ll lead inpatient care as MRP for complex cases and co-manage surgical patients, with strong teamwork across CMH physicians.

New graduates and experienced hospitalists are welcome, including part-time or locum arrangements to support work-life balance. Opportunities for NAVIG8 leadership development are available.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospitalist experience or new graduate starting in hospital medicine.

Fantastic opportunity for a Hospitalist to join the team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake. As a Hospitalist at Cariboo Memorial Hospital, you will work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and function in a MRP (most responsible physician) role for complex medical and co-management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care. Throughout the hospital, you will receive excellent support from the other CMH specialists and family physicians. Working 8 hours a day you will see an average of 12-16 inpatients per shift.

The CMH Hospitalist program supports the complex and diverse medical needs of our patients in an environment that fosters collaboration among specialists.

Compensation

Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract

Estimated Remuneration: For a full time hospitalist, anticipate an annual base income of $336,168.00 or $200.10/ hour. Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours Premiums also provided. Physician Overhead No Overhead.

Benefits and Incentives

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

• Retention Premium 12.32%
• Retention Flat Fee $19,092
• Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000
• Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE)
