Role and Facility Information

At Royal Inland Hospital (RIH), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high quality care while working in a collegial and supportive hospitalist practice. As the regional tertiary referral centre for the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap, RIH offers a diverse and engaging clinical environment where hospitalists manage a wide spectrum of conditions, including acute illness, chronic disease, complex geriatric care, and trauma. You will care for patients across the lifespan and serve a richly diverse population, including Indigenous communities and new Canadians, with seasonal and regional variations providing continual clinical interest. You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative hospitalist team, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, comprehensive onboarding, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development to help you thrive in your role.

Compensation

Compensation Type Clinical Service Contract Estimated Remuneration For a full time hospitalist, anticipate an annual base income of $336,168.00 or $200.10/ hour. Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours Premiums also provided. Physician Overhead There is small overhead payment of $3.48 per hour worked.

• Relocation Funding Available $Relocation reimbursement up to a maximum of $9,000 for moves within BC, $12,000 for moves within Canada, and $15,000 for those relocating from outside Canada (with eligible detailed receipts).
