Fraser Health’s Royal Columbian Hospital Hospitalist Group in New Westminster, BC is inviting expressions of interest from Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians for flexible locum and permanent positions.

The team emphasises patient-centred inpatient care within a dynamic tertiary-care environment.

Qualificações

• Full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC).
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) or Internal Medicine (FRCPC or ABIM), or CPSBC-equivalent qualifications.
• Current CMPA coverage.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality inpatient care as part of a hospitalist team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across services.
• Engage in clinical teaching with medical school affiliations (UBC, SFU).
• Participate in locum-to-permanent arrangements as opportunities arise.

Role and Facility Information: The Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH) Hospitalist Group is welcoming expressions of interest from Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians interested in joining our established and collegial team in New Westminster, BC. Our group brings together physicians from both specialties who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred inpatient care in a dynamic tertiary-care environment. We welcome physicians interested in both flexible locum opportunities and permanent positions, with the potential for locum-to-permanent arrangements.

Qualifications

Previous hospitalist experience is an asset but not essential. Physicians trained in Canada and internationally are encouraged to apply. US-trained Internal Medicine physicians with ABIM certification who meet CPSBC full licensure requirements are welcome.
