This position will be servicing in the Sorel / Drummondville / Victoriaville / Shawinigan areas.

Schedule: Sorel - Monday am-pm

Job Description:

Under management direction, a Hospital Services Worker travels between customer healthcare facilities providing on-site collection and exchange of waste containers for various Client programs, including but not limited to: Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. This service is provided at scheduled intervals for assigned facilities.

Responsibilities include monitoring, collecting, and exchanging waste containers, interacting professionally with onsite staff, maintaining a strict service schedule, and communicating duty status as scheduled.

Additional duties involve contact with all levels of customer staff—doctors, nurses, patients, hospital leadership—to deliver and collect waste containers, as well as managing asset/inventory to minimize container stock at customer locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related experience preferred, especially in customer service
  • Strong communication skills and tact
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation for travel between facilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including spreadsheets and tracking software for KPIs
