Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Service Worker I at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital to support the Linen and Environmental Services team. You will transport patients and equipment, distribute hospital supplies, and clean care areas to ensure a quality patient experience.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12, strong teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. The role offers casual/relief status with variable shifts and a starting pay of $22.33–$24.38 per hour

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
• Willing to work on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients, supplies, waste and equipment within the hospital.
• Clean patient rooms, public areas and equipment.
• Follow IPC guidelines and report safety concerns to Unit Managers.
