As a Hospital Parkade Security Guard, there is a high focus on regular foot patrolling, access control, de-escalation, and exceptional customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in a hospital parkade environment.

Responsibilities for Hospital Parkade Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Foot parking patrols as per post orders and as instructed by supervisor
• Traffic control
• Working as a team and reporting to the onsite supervisor
• Providing escorts for visitors and issuing passes for appropriate areas
• Ensuring all doors are closed and vacant areas have lights off
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Providing active response, assisting EMS, fire watch, pressurized systems, and chemical spills
• Employee work alone process
• G-Track patrolling will be done as per site orders
• Documenting/reporting issues using electronic devices
• Adhering to all company standards and site orders

Qualifications for Hospital Parkade Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
• First aid certification an asset
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
• Parking facility for personal car is not available
