Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent.
• Ability to perform specialized cleaning procedures in isolation areas.
• High standard of cleanliness and sanitation with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills are a necessity.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Criminal Records Check (3 months) required.
• Shift hours: 0830-1645 and 1400-2215.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect public, patient and office areas according to standards.
• Dispose of waste following Infection Control procedures.
• Adhere to Covenant Health and St Michael's policies and procedures.
• Interact compassionately with patients, residents, and staff.
• Work across multiple units in hospitality as needed.
