JSSA Hospice is looking for a Triage nurse to assist patients and their families during the end-of-life process.

Responsibilities :

• Support primary nurses and doctors with handling clinical and scheduling / administrative hospice calls regarding patient care
• Oversee the scheduling and productivity of the hospice aides (CNAs / CMTs)
• Provide administrative support in preparing for and during IDG meetings
• Assist with any office administrative tasks as needed
• Attend all required meetings
• Available to work onsite Monday through Friday from 7 : 30am-4pm
• Able to make filed visits to perform annual and as-needed hospice aide supervisory visits

Qualifications :

Active LPN or RN license to practice in Maryland

3-5 years’ experience performing related work

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills

The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and outstanding customer service skills

Proficient with MS Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel) , Electronic Medical Records and other databases

Familiarity and comfort with hospice medical terminology

Ability to manage confidential information with sensitivity

Outstanding phone and in person customer service skills
