Job summary

WEIR in Elliot Lake, Ontario is seeking a Hose Builder (Apprentice) to work alongside experienced colleagues, manufacturing custom industrial hoses for mining and oil sands customers. This hands-on role includes extensive on-the-job training and a path to independent contribution as skills progress.

You will operate specialized equipment, follow drawings and specifications, and participate in assembly, finishing, and production activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Follow production drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Support hose assembly, preparation, finishing, and production activities.
• Maintain quality standards and meet production requirements.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
