The Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation is currently looking to hire a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to fulfill the position of Homemaker.

Responsibilities

• To provide an appropriate level of service to all clients
• Maintain accurate records for each client
• Respecting the confidentiality of all clients
• Respecting beliefs, value and property of all Elders
• Meal Planning and preparation of special diets
• Assist with shopping
• Basic personal hygiene
• Social contact, visits, daily check ins
• Assist clients to schedule and administer their own medications

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand Anishinaabemowin is considered an asset
• Must live a healthy lifestyle
• Updated First Aid & CPR
