Job summary

ParaMed in Dryden, Ontario is seeking a Home Support Worker Trainee to join our community care team. This program starts November 18, 2026 in Dryden and offers three weeks of paid in-class training.

Upon graduation, permanent full-time positions with benefits are available in Dryden or Fort Frances. You’ll travel between patients, assist with meals, hygiene, light housekeeping, and provide companionship.

• Compassion and listening skills are essential.
• Experience with seniors/children is an asset.
• Willingness to visit patients' residences within a designated area.
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check on hire.

As a Home Support Worker, you will assist people in your community to live safely in their homes by supporting them with daily tasks and self-care activities. You will receive free and paid training in a 3 week in-class program designed to teach you the skills needed to work as a Home Support Worker.
