Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking a Home Support Worker to assist clients in their homes, helping with daily tasks and self-care. The role includes traveling between patient visits, meal preparation, and personal hygiene support, with emphasis on companionship and overall wellbeing.

We provide in-class training, flexible scheduling, benefits, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for further education, including PSW bridging programs funded by ParaMed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to visit patients’ residences within a designated area.
• Experience with seniors and/or children is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Travel between patient homes for daily visits.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-time.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties.

You will receive free and paid training in a 3 week in-class program designed to teach you the skills needed to work as a Home Support Worker.
