Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Canada seeks caring Personal Support Workers to travel between patients, provide daily living assistance, prepare meals, support hygiene, and offer companionship in the comfort of clients' homes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle, and the ability to work every other weekend; prior experience with seniors or children is an asset, and a criminal background check will be required.

Qualifications

• Compassion and active listening essential.
• Strong desire to help community and seniors.
• Willingness to visit patients’ residences within a designated area.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Experience with seniors and/or children is an asset.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background screening at hire.
• Personal hygiene care experience is an asset but not required.
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel from patient to patient completing several home visits per day.

• Basic housekeeping duties.
• Provide companionship and support the well-being of patients.
