Home Support Worker NOC 44101

Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications
2. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
3. Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder)
4. Feed or assist in feeding
5. Mend clothing and linens
6. Plan therapeutic diets and menus
7. Provide personal care
8. Prepare and serve nutritious meals
9. Administer bedside and personal care
10. Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
11. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
12. Change non-sterile dressings
13. Demonstrate infant care to new parents
14. Launder clothing and household linens
15. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
16. Provide companionship
17. Shop for food and household supplies

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Salary: $19.78 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
