New Directions is a non-profit agency providing community-based supports. The SSH program operates 24/7 in two homes, with a full-time supervisor role overseeing staff and operations. The successful candidate will guide team onboarding, scheduling, and collaboration with schools and healthcare professionals.
Applicants should have post-secondary education in social services, strong leadership, and certification in First Aid/CPR and NVCI. A valid driver's license and ASL knowledge are assets.

Shift Staffed Homes (SSH) is one of the many service areas within New Directions that provide community homes for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Our community-based resources promote a sense of belonging and provide opportunities to the individuals we support to engage in a meaningful life. This is achieved by providing person-centered support in their home. Shift Staffed Homes operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 7am-3pm
Preference will be given to female-presenting candidate due to specific support needs at this time.

The salary range for this Full-time 80-hour bi-weekly position is $22.3459 to $29.0486 per hour (equivalent to $46,429.47 - $60,421.09 per annum), dependent upon education and/or experience of the successful candidate.
The anticipated start date for this position is October 18th, 2026.
The successful candidate will be subject to Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry, Prior Contact, and Adult Abuse Registry Checks. A recent Driver’s Abstract must also be provided.
