Job description

Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for managing overall Home Health Care department performance.
  • Works with other team members to achieve department objectives while embracing all Shoppers Drug Mart policies, procedures, and standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Healthcare background ideal
  • Nursing students or other healthcare students encouraged to apply

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain relationships with multiple clinics within the hospital, including (but not limited to) orthopedics, vascular, physiotherapy, and plastics.

Successful candidates will provide customer service in areas including but not limited to:

  • Bracing and support products
  • Mobility aids (walkers, canes, crutches, etc.)
  • Compression garments (hosiery, post-surgical bras, etc.)
  • Medical supplies (wound care, ostomy, enteral nutrition, etc.)
  • Ensure products are in stock through proactive inventory planning and best practices.
  • Inventory control, ordering, price adjustments, damages, and returns.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting with knowledge of bracing, mobility aids, and medical supplies.
  • Previous retail experience (including purchasing, loss prevention, inventory control, and people management) is an asset.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
