Job description

We are looking for a dedicated in-home caregiver to take care of a senior. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to the senior, assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, monitoring patients’ health and reporting any changes to the family. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others. $23.90/hr, 30+ hours per week.

Main duties

• Provide care and companionship for the senior on a daily base
• Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing
• Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding clients
• Routine health-related monitoring, assisting in the administration of medications
• Routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

Employment requirements

• Secondary school or above education. Previous work experience, completion of a training program in care, and first aid certification are preferred but not mandatory. Basic English communication, mandarin speaking as a bonus.
