Job summary

VHA Home HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver client-centred home and school-based assessments, consultations, and interventions in Ontario. You will collaborate with the client care team to promote independence and optimize functional outcomes for pediatric clients in home and school settings.

The role focuses on evidence-based practice, care planning, and documentation, with opportunities for virtual care, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, mission-driven workplace

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized program.
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.
• Ability to provide virtual care is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide occupational therapy interventions in accordance with professional guidelines and organizational standards.
• Implement client interventions based on assessment information and care plans.
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress and discharge summaries as required.
• Ensure safe, coordinated care through ongoing communication with the client’s team.
