Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

  • Provides Service and Sales to Our Customers.
  • Works with other team members to achieve department objectives while embracing all Shoppers Drug Mart policies, procedures and standards.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain business relationships with multiple clinics within the hospital including (but not limited to) orthopedics, vascular, physiotherapy and plastics.

Successful candidate will provide customer service in a variety of areas including but not limited to:

  • Bracing and support products
  • Mobility aids (walkers, canes, crutches etc)
  • Compression garments (hosiery, post-surgical bras etc)
  • Medical Supplies (wound care, ostomy, enteral nutrition etc)
  • Bathing Equipment (bars, chairs, raised toilet seats etc)
  • Merchandising, Receiving, Returns and Inventory Control
  • Become a Certified Fitter in Compression Therapy
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in a health care setting with knowledge of bracing, mobility aids and medical supplies.
  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Previous Customer Service and Sales.
  • Computer Skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
