Job Description

Mass General Brigham Home Care serves patients from rehabilitation after illness or injury to chronic disease management. Responsibilities
  • Perform paraprofessional home health aide services following a written plan of care.
  • Work under the supervision of a primary nurse or therapist.
  • Provide personal care and related activities of daily living services for patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities.
  • Prepare reports and documentation, following regulatory and agency guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Massachusetts Home Care Aide Certification required.
  • Must pass the Massachusetts Council Home Care Aide exam.
  • At least 1 year of home health aide experience required.
  • Must successfully pass five clinical training modules.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Computer experience or demonstrated aptitude to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact with a diverse population.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Organized and able to independently follow specific instructions.
