A local health service provider in Saskatchewan is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist community members in their homes. The candidate will provide necessary personal care, home management, and respite services, working both independently and collaboratively with other health professionals. A Grade 12 education and relevant certifications are preferred, and the ability to understand Cree is a plus.

About the Position: The successful candidate will assist and provide services in the Home and Community Care Program for LLRIB community members. You will be working in the homes of our clients, providing necessary home management, personal care & respite assistance.
Duties:
• Apply a knowledge-based Home Health Aide practice independently & in collaboration with the client & other health care professionals to promote independent living of clients;
• Must be able to provide home management personal care & respite assistance to clients;
• Use skills & interventions to meet physical, social/cultural, emotional & spiritual needs to the clients;
• Working 5 days per week/7.5 hours per day
Qualifications:
• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent;
• Home Health Aide or Continuing Care Aide Certificate preferred, or combination of educations & experience may be considered;
• Pervious Home Care or Acute Care experience is an asset;
• Must be able to work independently & collaboratively with the Home Care Team;
• Must be self-directed & demonstrate organizational skills;
• Ability to speak or understand Cree is an asset;
• First Aid/CPR Training Certifications is an asset &/or willing to learn;
• Must possess a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
