Home Child Care Provider/In Home Caregiver for Pelaez Family

Family in Surrey is in need of an In Home Caregiver/Home Child Care Provider.

Job Location: 13985 113A Avenue Surrey, BC V3R 2K1
Workplace Information: On Site
Salary: 19.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full time
Employment Conditions: Flexible Hours
Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work Setting: Employer’s home, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.

Responsibilities
Tasks include:

  1. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
  2. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  3. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  4. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  5. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  6. Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  7. Supervise and care for children
  8. Take children to and from school and to appointments
  9. Tend to emotional well-being of children
  10. Help children with homework
