Job summary

Next Youth Job is seeking a caregiver for on-site duties at a family residence. The role includes supervising children and performing household tasks, with an on-site requirement and an optional live-in accommodation at no charge.

Starts as soon as possible with a salary of 20.85 CAD per hour, for 30–40 hours per week, permanent full-time employment. Public transportation is available and remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience is an asset.
• Criminal record check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children.
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Bathe, dress and feed children.
• Discipline children as instructed by parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy home environment.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Tend to emotional well-being of children.

Tasks
