Job summary

Next Youth Job in North York, ON is seeking a Home Child Care Provider to support two children in a private home. This full-time role offers on-site work with no remote option and a wage of $20.85 hourly for 30–40 hours per week.

Permanent employment and start date as soon as possible are provided. Responsibilities include supervising the children, light housekeeping, meal preparation, personal hygiene instruction, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

Supervise and care for two children. Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Bathe, dress, and feed the children. Instruct the children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Prepare and serve nutritious meals.Prepare the children for rest periods. Tend to the emotional well-being of the children.

Job Requirements
