Job summary

Next Youth Job in Mississauga is seeking a dedicated caregiver to supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children. This full-time position requires an individual who can maintain a safe environment, prepare meals, and organize activities. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and experience in childcare is an asset.

This role is on-site at the employer's home, where optional live-in accommodation is available. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Able to handle up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in the absence of parents.

Salary: 20.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Public transportation is available

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Tasks

Supervise and care for children. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Organize, activities such as games and outings for children

Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Tend to emotional well-being of children

Job Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience an asset
