Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, Red Deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a part-time temporary Home Centre Associate to work in the Garden Centre at our Red Deer Home Centre.

Position Details

• Position: Home Centre Associate
• Term: Temporary contract until approximately August 30, 2025.
• Part-time: 24 – 36 hours per week.
• Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers and respond to customer questions.
2. Familiarize yourself with our product range.
3. Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge.
4. Perform cashier duties; ensure accurate processing of sale transactions.
5. Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders and quotes.
6. Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits.
7. Assist in merchandise displays.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

1. Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
3. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
4. Team player with the ability to work independently.
5. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
6. Applicants must be over 14 years old, with necessary permits if under 18.
