Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Home Care Worker to assist clients with daily living activities in their homes. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients while promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Administer medication (if certified and authorized) as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Relevant home care or healthcare training (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent in some regions).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Physical stamina and the ability to assist with mobility tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Work is typically performed in clients’ homes.
• May involve flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
