Care Connect is seeking dedicated, female* Home Care Support Workers to provide in-home support to our aged care clients in the western suburbs of Melbourne (Caroline Springs, St Albans, Werribee, and surrounding areas).

About the role…

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will deliver essential services including domestic duties (cleaning & laundry), personal grooming & hygiene assistance, medication reminders, food shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and mobility support within clients’ homes and the local community.

Most importantly, you will provide compassionate care and support, prioritising the well-being of your clients at all times.

To be successful as a Home Care Support Worker, you will have:

  • A positive attitude, active listening skills, and a genuine interest in helping others
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Home and Community Care, or Bachelor/Diploma of Nursing (or completed first-year study towards it)
  • At least 3 months of paid experience in the Aged Care or Community Care sector
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • First Aid and CPR certificates (these can be obtained after applying)
  • Excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
  • Full Australian working rights, and current Police & Working With Children Checks (we can assist with police checks for successful applicants)
