Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a Rehab Assistant in Windsor, Ontario. This casual role supports therapists by carrying out prescribed rehabilitation programs and documenting client progress, helping adults and children achieve maximum potential at home and in the community.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may provide transportation as needed. The position emphasizes safe, person-centered care, ongoing learning, and adherence to infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program.
• University degree in kinesiology may be considered; RRP or CCRC designation is acceptable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; exceptional interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement personalized rehabilitation programs in collaboration with therapists.
• Document clients’ progress and report outcomes to providers.
• Drive clients safely as needed with valid coverage.
• Attend case conferences and collaborate with the care team.
• Adapt to home, community and work reintegration needs.
