Job summary

Elder Care in Mississauga is seeking a compassionate, experienced elder care provider to assist my father with daily living tasks. The role is live-out, part-time, with shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., starting ASAP, and potential for more hours.

Responsibilities include personal care, feeding assistance, positioning, light meal prep, and safe transfers in a hospital bed. Ideal candidates have a nurturing spirit, patience, and the ability to handle varying personal care tasks in a home

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient elder care experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a home setting with sensitivity to family dynamics.
• Comfort with personal care tasks and assisting with mobility and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding and personal care for father.
• Provide positioning, bed exercises, and bedside transfers as needed.
• Prepare light breakfasts and assist with basic meal planning.
• Support sitting, transfers from bed to wheelchair, and safe movement.

My family is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced elder care provider for my father.Update:We are looking for someone who can offer live-out care, providing personal care and support. My father requires assistance with feeding, repositioning, bed exercises, light breakfast prep, sitting, and possible changing him. He is unable to walk, and is in a hospital bed. We want to work on transfers from bed to wheel chair at some point.We need someone between 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. Starting ASAP. There is a possibility of increased shifts and times.The position requires someone with a nurturing spirit and the ability to handle various personal care tasks.
