Qualicare Calgary has immediate openings for HCA/Caregivers in Northwest Calgary with morning shifts available: Monday through Sunday. Early starts are available!

Job Summary

The HCA works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, performing personal care services to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance/reminders
• Ambulation and transporting clients
• Providing companionship
• Following care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• HCA certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Current CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel within the territory
• Access to internet and mobile phone
