Job summary

Assisted Living Alberta is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Home Living team, providing professional nursing services in clients' homes across the Edmonton Westview area. The role involves case management, direct client care, and collaboration with families and the health care team.

You will assess needs, plan care, coordinate resources, and evaluate outcomes, aiming for evidence-based, client-centered care in various home environments.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Two years of recent nursing experience (within last 5 years) or recent refresher within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of clients and provide nursing services within professional standards.
• Coordinate resources and establish goals for client delivery.
• Evaluate outcomes and ensure client-centered care.
• Provide case management and direct client care in home settings.
• Collaborate with family and health partners; mentor students.
