Job summary

LifeLabs is seeking a Cardiac Resource Technologist to perform cardiac diagnostic analysis of Holter tapes and related ECG work. This permanent, casual role supports the Cardiac Services team in Surrey, BC with flexible hours.

You will monitor tapes, resolve issues, and contribute to ongoing education and quality assurance. The ideal candidate has CSCT/CTABC registration and 2 years’ hospital or private lab experience.

Qualifications

• Current CSCT/CTABC registration is required.
• 2 years’ recent experience in cardiac lab or Holter scanning.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Typing speed 40 wpm.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate cardiac diagnostic analysis of Holter scans.
• Review and send out 24hr Ambulatory Blood Pressure reports.
• Monitor scan quality and resolve recorder/specimen issues.
• Handle Holter/AMBP recordings and reports distribution.
• Serve as technical/diagnostic resource for PSC staff (Holter, AMBP, ECG).
• Assist in cardiac education and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain documentation and safety procedures.
