The Salvation Army in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a Christmas Support Worker to assist Community and Family Services during the holiday season on a temporary, part-time basis.

The role involves sorting donations, assisting with distribution, pickups, and data recording; requires high school completion, at least one year of relevant experience, and a valid Ontario G license. The position offers flexible shifts and opportunities to contribute to community service.

Competenze

• High school completed or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in community programs would be an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic email/internet use.

Mansioni

• Assist with processing, unloading, documenting, and sorting donations for the Christmas program.
• Assist with pickups of food and toy donations from community donors using program vehicle.
• Assist with set up and takedown of toy and food hampers distribution centre.
• Record statistical data clearly and accurately.
