Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Hitch Service Technician to work on U-Haul Moving and Storage Center lots.

You will use technical skills to explain towing options, install the appropriate tow package, and deliver outstanding customer service to customers in a hands-on role. The position involves physical work, safety precautions, and the possibility of benefits such as health insurance, holidays, and ongoing training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
