An established industry player is seeking a skilled cook to join their team in preparing authentic Japanese cuisine. This permanent, full-time position offers a dynamic kitchen environment where you will plan, prepare, and cook diverse menus while overseeing kitchen operations. Ideal candidates will have several years of commercial cooking experience or equivalent education, along with a passion for culinary excellence. – Completion of secondary school is required.
– Several years of commercial cooking experience (2~3 years) or completion of college/other equivalent credential program in cooking is required.
– Proficient in English is required.
– Plan, prepare and cook various Japanese cuisine menus, Determine size of food portions, Oversee kitchen operation, Clean kitchen and work area, and supervise and train helpers in culinary preparation techniques used.
$26.00 ~ $36.00 per hour depends on experience and expertise, 4% vacation fee of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation, gratuities and free meals.
Working hours:
6 hours per day and 30 hours per week (permanent & full-time position)
